Adult Sunday Morning Groups

Sunday mornings from 9:45 to 10:45AM bring exciting learning and fellowship opportunities for all ages.  For more information, please contact the Sunday School Coordinator, Vicki Sims (click here for email).  Except as noted, classes meet in the Education Building next to the Sanctuary.

Challengers - First Floor Room 101 (Parlor)
This group of mature men and women study the Old and New Testament and its meaning for Christians today. Topics change on a quarterly basis beginning in January, April, July, and September.

Kairos - Back of the Fellowship Hall
Kairos means “God’s Time.”  The studies of this class center on real life application of the Scripture.  In January the class will begin a study of Outlive Your Life by Max Lucado.  According to Lucado's web site, "these are difficult days in our world's history.  But you and I have been given an opportunity to make a big difference.  What if we did?  What if we rocked the world with hope?  Infiltrated all corners with God's love and life?  We are created by a great God to do great works.  He invites us to outlive our lives, not just in heaven, but here on earth."  You are invited to join this challenging study.

Seekers - Fellowship Hall
Join a multi-age group for facilitated, Scripture-based discussions.  This class is currently studying the Book of Hebrews, led by Beth Andrews.

New! Topics - Second Floor Room 205

We would like to invite you to attend as we study The Christian Family Tree by Adam Hamilton. Through this book we'll learn about and discuss the differences between the main "branches" of the Christian family tree as practiced by the main denominations.  During class we will watch a short DVD, then share our perspectives and questions. The study will begin on Sunday, June 5, 2011.  We will meet at 9:45 a.m. in the Covenant Cove room upstairs in the Education Building.  Please join us as we learn together and meet other members of our Tallahassee Heights UMC family. By the way since the class will consider various topics each week, you may attend one or more classes at any time without that "lost" feeling!
