Children's Church
Covenant Cove is a worship service geared towards children who are in 3rd through 5th Grade.
Kingdom Kids is geared to children age 4 to 2nd grade, both groups meet at 11:00.
Children's Church is available during the 8:45 service for children 4 years old to 5th grade.
We endeavor to use a variety of methods to teach the message of the Gospel. We play games, use videos, drama, role play, etc. We use Group’s “Kids Own Worship” curriculum. This involves games, crafts, singing, discussion, skits, puppet shows and short video clips. We also have “Week Speak” every week in order to allow the kids to share something that happened that week that we can pray about. We have snack and outdoor play as well. The children are in church with the Children’s Church leaders for communion the first Sunday of each month and then are released with the leaders to Children’s Church. All teachers go through Red Cross training and through Tallahassee Heights UMC specialized child protection training. There is a place for your child in this program!
